Game of Thrones's Star Kit Harrington To Join Marvel's Eternals

The "Game of Thrones" legendary character Jon Snow played by Kit Harrington will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe and be part of the upcoming Marvel's movie Eternals cast, announced by the Marvel Studios president Kelvin Feige at Disney’s D23 Expo on Saturday in California. 

Kit Harrington will play Dane Whitman, a.k.a. The Black Knight and will be reunited with another "Game of Thrones" co-star Richard Madden as Ikaris in Eternals. Harrington will be the third star to join the MCU besides Richard Madden and Sophie Turner who plays Jean Grey in X-Men. In addition to Kit Harrington and Richard Madden, Gemma Chan and Barry Keoghan will join the cast. Chan as Sersi and Keoghan plays an Eternal named Druig. The already joined casts are Angelina Jolie as Thena, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Salma Hayek as leader Ajak, Brian Tyree Henry as Phasto, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Ma Dong-seok as Gilgamesh, and Lauren Ridloff as Makkari.

Eternals is part of the highly anticipated MCU phase four adventure, the story is about the immortals living amongst humans while awaiting the arrival of the Celestials on Earth and will be released worldwide on November 6, 2020.
