PLEASURES' Latest Drop Features Artist Patrick Nagel
LA-based clothing brand PLEASURES teamed up on a limited edition capsule collection featuring the work of late American artist Patrick Nagel. Known for his minimalist art deco-inspired work depicting women, Nagel has influenced a whole generation of artists and graphic designers with his distinctive aesthetic.
At the forefront of the Los Angeles new wave of illustration in the '70s, Nagel has influenced the likes of Helmut Newton, Guy Bourdin, David Bowie and more - proving that his work transcended medium and boundaries. While his work was often thought of as controversial and risqué, he was commissioned by the likes of Playboy, Budweiser and Lucky Strike. Perhaps the most recognizable piece of his work was the album artwork for Duran Duran's Rio album.
Released in partnership with Nagel's estate, the collection features four graphics across a selection of T-shirts and hoodies. Available now on CLOT.com and at JUICE locations.
